Instructional:

Marketing and Sales:
Marketing and sales is an important part of any successful Dive Center or Resort. Ideally, staff members at all levels recognize the need for a team effort in this endeavor. In person sales can be as subtle as recommending that a guest take the next level of training or tout the advantages of specialty courses and how they can benefit from it. Talking up some of the dive sites that they didn’t yet get to see, gives a guest a reason to book the next days activities with us rather than thinking they have seen everything there was to see in one day. Sometimes the best ‘sales technique’ is simply giving information and to convey our passion for the things we do.
The natural relationship between ourselves and our guests can be seamlessly applied to our marketing efforts. Our guests love to take a group photo at the end of a day or two of diving, and asking them to tag ourselves and the dive center on social media shows others how much they enjoyed their time with us. A review is always helpful of course, but a picture truly is worth a thousand words. Additionally, the strategic use of tagging, retweeting, and the suggested content algorithms used by social media platforms can increase the effectiveness of these efforts.
Resort and Dive Management:
